Let the fishing begin!
We've arrived at Mammoth and now it is time to fish! This is Asa's first time fishing with me and my father.
Trip up North.
My family is taking a vacation up to Mammoth in central California. There we will be fishing and spending time as a family. Mammoth is located in the high Sierra Mountains of California.
Prayer request.
On Thursday my Grandmother is going into surgery for operation on a cancerous lump located on her lung. Because of the location on her lung she has developed a constant dry cough. Please pray that the surgery will be a success as Doctors take out the cancerous lump.

Narita Airport.
I am heading out to California for a little over 2 weeks. Since I have moved to the Mainland I have flown out of Narita a total of 6 times in the past 9 months. I will be attending the Calvary Pastor's Conference by helping run the CCBC:Japan booth in California. Please pray that the time will be a blessing for all the Pastors who will attend.

Aunt Ayuko.
This is Ayuko who is my Dad's aunt. It was a blessing to have been able to visit her. Ayuko lives only 30 minutes away by train, it has been more than 10 years since I last saw her. Please pray for her salvation, before we heart was very strong and rigid but over the years she has become softer as the years progress.

Solar Eclipse.
While walking to morning devotions in the morning I noticed the sky darkened. Then I remembered that this morning was a solar eclipse. At first I could not see the eclipse until a Japanese man had a cheap filter to see. The picture does not do justice. It has been 170 years since Tokyo received its last full eclipse. Once in a life time experience.
Visit from Fukiko.
Fukiko used to be a student at CCBC Okinawa. After she graduated she returned back to Osaka. This weekend she came up to Tokyo for a business trip and was able to visit us here at Fuchu on Sunday. It was good to catch up with her. Fukiko was able to attend a semester in Jerusalem. What an experience.

Arrived to goodbyes.
I made it back from Sapporo in time to say goodbye to those who have not left the school. It was a great to have Anna Hebel come as an intern, she is now in the air on her way back to Germany. While Tamiko and Rie are headed back to Okinawa together. The building sure got quiet as the size went from 15 to 5.

Calvary Golgotha Sapporo.
Pastor Steve doesn't have a Sunday morning service yet. But on Sunday nights he has a Bible study. As the picture shows God is bringing people to the study to be fed His Word. Please continue to pray for Steve and family and also for those who attend Calvary Sapporo.

Skyline of Sapporo city.
Up in the television tower one can go up to the top to look at the skyline of the city. Look at the pictures. Sapporo is a beautiful city. It is literally a city located within the forest.
Visiting the famous T.V. Tower.
Saturday, I was able to go tour Sapporo city. Michio and her daughter took me to the Sapporo television tower.
Pastor Steve's wife: Michio
On Sunday Pastor Steve was invited to teach at Sapporo Fukuinkan Kyokai. What is special about Steve's wife is that she is a professional opera singer. She has literally traveled the world singing opera. And she has also been taught by many well known opera teachers and singers in Europe.
Pastor Steve.
I am staying with Pastor Steve and his family. They have the wonderful gift of hospitality. Pastor Steve has graduated from Calvary Bible College in Hungary. He is a great chef. Check out his European bread. Delicious.
Beautiful Sapporo.
I am blessed in being able to go up north to visit our family in Christ here in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Sapporo is the largest city on the Hokkaido island of Japan. Here is the very famous Bell tower in Sapporo. It was established during the 1800's.

CCBC Graduation Ceremony.
This semester has flown by way too quickly. It seems only that two weeks has happened when in fact two months has happened. Please pray for Yuko, Aya and Chala. Though they have graduated God still has big plans for them. Incredible.
Toki the Ice Cream King.
Tokito usually doesn't eat "big time", but here at the banquet Toki didn't hold back. As the picture shows proof Toki went all out for the ice cream.
CCBC Semester banquet.
The Bible College was able to have their banquet at "Ken's Steak-House". The fellowship was great as many of the Pastors and leaders who taught the Friday's lectures in ministry were able to attend.
Happy Birthday!
Tuesday was Michal's 16th birthday. It was a great time to celebrate it. It has been more than 10 years since Michal has visited the Mainland. It was a great time.

Last Session: Pastor Jack Bell.
The last session of the conference was taught by Pastor Jack Bell of Calvary Chapel Kamakura. Pastor Jack taught out of John 1:19-28. Great to hear from him. This conference has been a blast.
Night Session: Pastor Rick.
Pastor Rick is able to share at the last conference of the night. He shared about the importance in following Jesus. We are like sheep, when we focus on something other than Jesus we become lost in the world.

"Golden Week" is in effect in Japan and so is the Japan Conference. This conference is hosted by the Calvary Chapels in the Tokyo region. It is great to have the first session opened up by Pastor Jeremiah Boek.

Party time with the students.
After the Worship Concert the Students had a party. The party had a two-fold purpose. It was a national holiday an also our student Rie's 23rd birthday. The students got their grub on! As you can see we made Takoyaki, the perfect party food.
Treasure in a Recycle store.
Japan has many great things. One of which is the many Recycle stores in Japan. I found this sweet guitar at one of the recycle shops I normally visit. It was a good find. Thank you Jesus!
Japan Worship Concert.
In the past, there has been an annual worship conference held in Okinawa. Since majority of the Bible College students are here in Tokyo God had opened the door to hold a concert with CC West Tokyo. It was a great time. Almost every Calvary in the Tokyo region came out to attend to play worship and sing praises together. It was a wonderful time of worship.
